Marenco Architects is a North American architecture practice with roots in Windsor–Detroit and Toronto. Our team draws on experience at leading Canadian and U.S. firms, bringing deep knowledge of residential, commercial, and institutional architecture across a range of scales. Will and Kathryn began their careers in boutique studios—developing a hands-on, client-focused mindset—before leading major initiatives at multi-disciplinary practices in Detroit and Toronto, where they expanded their capacity for integrated project delivery.

That foundation, combined with years of collaboration with developers, builders, REITs, community leaders, and technical specialists, reinforces our belief that great design emerges from partnership, context, and a commitment to thoughtful, enduring solutions. We are invested in the intersection of function, purpose, and aesthetics—creating sustainable, adaptable, and socially engaging spaces that strengthen their neighborhoods and the broader public realm.

Our expertise spans multifamily housing, mixed-use developments, commercial and retail environments, institutional projects, and comprehensive planning. We also have a strong background in heritage regeneration, including adaptive reuse, renovations, and expansions, ensuring each project balances contemporary needs with historical significance.

What sets us apart is our multidisciplinary perspective—we think like architects, builders, and developers. This allows us to navigate projects with a holistic understanding of feasibility, constructability, efficacy, and long-term value. By drawing on diverse expertise, we provide strategic guidance at every stage of development, ensuring projects are executed with precision, integrity, and impact.
